Composters and recyclers offered ‘extra income with no hassle’ (posted 19/02/2009)Composters and recyclers are being offered the chance to increase their profits but with no extra work.
Eco Equip (Europe) Ltd has approached firms in the sector, offering to take their bespoke bits of equipment, manufacture and market them.
The newly formed subsidiary of Eco Sustainable Solutions, the Dorset-based organics recycling specialist, will pay a royalty on every item sold.
Trelawney Dampney, Eco’s Managing Director (pictured), said: “Over the years we’ve all developed equipment on our sites to solve a specific problem because there was nothing on the market to do the exact job required.
“At Eco we’ve developed many bespoke bits of kit for that very reason. To maximise the revenues from our ideas we formed Eco Equip to market these bits of kit to others in the industry.
“Our message to fellow composters and recyclers is that if you have any bespoke equipment which you’ve designed, we’ll be happy to manufacture and market it.
“Eco Equip will pay a royalty on every item sold which adds up to extra income with no hassle.”
Headed by Peter Hardy, Business Development Director, Eco Equip operates from Eco’s existing site at Parley, Dorset.
Composters and recyclers interested in taking up the offer should contact Trelawney Dampney direct by emailing lawney.Dampney@thisiseco.co.uk
