ECO is a founding member of the Composting Association. ECO continues to actively support the associatiojn with our Managing Director as one of the directors.
BALI (British Association of Landscape Indutries) Membership of the Association is only granted to those companies which are able to fulfil the stringent Conditions of Membership.
When you choose to do business with a BALI Member you have the added assurance that, in addition to compliance with all the relevant statutory responsibilities, the company concerned is also bound by the BALI Code of Conduct.
Soil AssociationThe Soil Association organic symbol is the UK's largest and most recognisable trademark for organic produce. Wherever you see it you can be sure that the product you have purchased has been produced and processed to strict and rigorous animal welfare and environmental standards.
Certification and inspection, carried out by our wholly owned subsidiary Soil Association Certification Ltd, ensures that these standards are adhered to.
Bristish Standards BS EN 1177:1998 British Standard Institute Testing is an independent product testing facility, which regularly tests manufacturers products to evaluate and confirm their performance to a wide range of criteria.
BS EN 1177, Item 4.2.2 - Beneath playground equipment having a free height of fall of more than 600 mm, there shall be impact attenuating surfacing over the entire impact area. Compiliance to this standard indicates that ECO PlayGround Chip passes the required, recognised standard for Loose Impact absorbing Surfaces.
Turf Growers Association (TGA) The TGAs principal mission is to ensure that standards of turf supplied to the industry are maintained at a consistently high level. ECO Turf is grown exclusively for ECO by a member of the Turfgrass Growers Association.
The TGA is the only professional organisation in the UK and Ireland dedicated to the advancement of quality turf production.
RHS (Royal Horticultural Society )The RHS's founding aim was to collect information about all plants, and to encourage the improvement of horticultural practice.
The Royal Horticultural Society continues to encourage the science, art and practice of horticulture in all its branches. It is now the world's leading horticultural organisation, with extremely active science and educational departments.
WoodRecyclers' Association (WRA) The main aims of the Association are to provide sector representation to Government and regulatory authorities, to disseminate advice and guidance on subjects relevant to the sector, to provide a forum for the exchange of information between members and to promote the wood recycling industry.
