Eco Mix
Nature's Traditional compost - an excellent untreated, peat-free soil improver. Can be used for a wide variety of domestic and professional purposes.
Uses
  • Peat-free soil improver ideal for breaking up heavy soils and adding organic matter to sandy soils
  • Improves water retention and drainage
  • Excellent top dressing for coarse turf
  • Used for planting trees and shrubs
Restrictions
  • Do not use as a growing medium
  • Do not use for acid loving plants (eg Rhododendron)
  • Do not use as a top dressing for fine turf - see ECO Dressings

The following text should be copied and pasted into documents by architects, landscapers and other specifiers when inviting tenders which should include ECO Mix.
Product information
The product to be used shall consist of a matured peat-free compost made from composted botanical residues. Graded particles of no larger than 7 mm with a substantial amount of organic fines, pH to be around 8.5. The product is to be free of physical contaminants, viable weed seeds and pathogens and shall be untreated by any additives.

Application Rate
Mix in (insert quantity) of ECO Mix per square metre to be treated. Product samples to be provided upon request.
